Custovia Escrow App

Overview

Custovia was developed as a trust-driven digital platform designed to make service discovery, identity verification, and secure transactions feel simple, structured, and reliable. The goal of the project was to build more than just a marketplace. It was to create an ecosystem where users could discover service providers, build professional credibility, complete KYC verification, access wallet features, and transact securely through escrow.

Product Thinking

From a product perspective, the project required a strong balance between trust, usability, and financial structure. The platform had to feel approachable enough for everyday users, while also being secure enough to support wallet activity, escrow transactions, dispute handling, and admin oversight. This meant the experience had to be carefully designed across both customer-facing and operational surfaces.

Branding

On the branding side, the work focused on shaping Custovia as a modern, trustworthy, and product-led brand. The identity needed to communicate security, professionalism, and accessibility, while still feeling digital and scalable. The visual direction was built to support both service providers and customers, giving the brand a confident but welcoming presence across product touchpoints and marketing materials.

UI/UX Design

For UI/UX design, the core challenge was designing a user journey that felt clear from the very first interaction. The onboarding flow was structured to help users quickly understand the value of the platform, choose how they wanted to use it, and move naturally into either service discovery or profile creation.

The product experience covered profile setup, interest and category selection, business profile creation, KYC verification, wallet access, escrow creation, transaction monitoring, and dispute resolution. Each flow was designed to reduce friction while keeping trust and transparency at the center of the experience.

Mobile App Development

The mobile app development component translated these flows into a real product experience for everyday users. The mobile app was designed around key navigation pillars including Home, Explore, Wallet, Escrow, and Profile. This ensured that users could easily move between discovering providers, managing their public presence, funding transactions, and tracking escrow activity.

Special care was given to how the app handled restricted states, especially around KYC-gated wallet and business profile features, so users always understood what they needed to do next and why.

Admin Dashboard

The admin dashboard was designed as the control center of the platform. It gave internal teams the tools to monitor users, review KYC submissions, oversee escrows, investigate disputes, track wallet activity, and manage platform settings such as transaction fees, categories, and tags.

The dashboard was not treated as a secondary product surface, but as a critical operational layer that supports trust, compliance, and marketplace health. The user details page in particular was designed to give admins a complete view of account health, including profile data, transaction activity, escrow history, KYC status, chat visibility, and wallet behavior.

Marketing

On the marketing side, the project also required clear messaging that could explain the product in a simple and compelling way. Since Custovia sits at the intersection of service discovery, identity verification, and escrow-powered payments, the communication had to highlight trust, visibility, and protection without sounding overly technical.

This informed the landing page content, feature descriptions, FAQs, onboarding copy, and the broader product messaging system.

Outcome

Overall, Custovia was a multi-layered product project that combined marketplace thinking, trust infrastructure, and financial workflow design into one connected experience. The final outcome was a product system that supports users from discovery to secure transaction completion, while also giving internal teams the controls needed to keep the platform safe, efficient, and scalable.
